There are several ways to compile GMAT. Two approaches are based on Microsoft Windows Visual Studio 2010 Express. A CMake system is currently under development.
Primary Build System
The primary GMAT build system is based on Microsoft Windows Visual Studio 2010 Express. The documentation is currently written in Latex and is stored in our SourceForge repository.
Alternative Build System
GMAT can be configured and compiled using CMake. However, these build scripts are still under construction. Here is documentation on the CMake system.

Static Debug Build System
GMAT has a simple static build Solution for Microsoft Windows Visual Studio 2010 Express. This is not well documented but it is often used by developers for debugging.
